About me

My Story

I’m Reanna, a travel-obsessed 30-something-year-old from sunny Bournemouth, UK.

My love for travelling was ignited when I was 16 and visited Kenya with Camps International for one month. The moment I arrived, I realised that this was where I was supposed to be: exploring new cultures, destinations, meeting new people, and sampling new cuisines.

Since then, I have lived out of a backpack for over 30 months of my life, visited 87 countries, solo-travelled, travelled with my wonderful partner, Chris, groups of friends, and family. I have lived in Australia, visited some of the world’s most ‘dangerous’ countries, which turned out not to be so dangerous. And, spent time in places most people only dream of.

I’ve made my whole life about travelling and experiencing new places. And now I want to share everything that I have learnt with you.

In this blog, you can expect to find destination guides, travel itineraries, epic hikes, places to stay, bucket list adventures, and underrated places that you might not have heard of before. Plus, of course, much, much more.

I have an unhealthy obsession with a beautiful view, with visiting places that most people haven’t even considered, with mountains that make you feel tiny, and with stunning beaches, where a swim in the sea makes all of your troubles melt away.

Now, this may sound whimsical and romantic. But, I guess that’s just how travel makes me feel.

I hope that I can inspire you to travel. To realise the world isn’t so big and scary. That planning a trip doesn’t have to be stressful or complicated. And that travelling isn’t about taking a holiday. It’s about so much more than that.

So, where first?
